EngineFixes.dll error

SKSE/Trampoline.h(187): Failed to handle allocation request.

Saw something like that on reddit, the only suggestions were to disable onedrive (don't have it) and hard reset. Didn't helped tho.

Haven't encountered that error myself. But you could try using this edited version of SKSE64[github.com]. Maybe its included fix for branch trampoline allocation underflow might help.

I'm having the same error message here, verified the files and I have no mods so not sure what could be causing it. Turned my one drive off too.
Edit: So I looked at the log and it said about engine fixes failed so I went into the Data\SKSE\Plugins and deleted the four EngineFixes files and it loads up now

Dayman I did the same and the game runs after that , but I can't save my progress. I get in game msg. "There was an error accessing the device, please try again later". I tried to solve it with every possible way was written in the internet and nothing yet.

use MO2 to launch the game. add mods its better.

I had the same issue, in Vortez search for mods with SKSE, Right-click where it says [Enabled]. then hit Reinstall. This worked for me.

This was one of the top search on Google, so I'll write here how I fixed this simple issue.

I have Windows 11 and the problem was OneDrive. It seems like the way it works conflicts with how SKSE does things.

Uninstall that thing from your PC,
or disable backing up following this guide (first comment): https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/re71eg/how_do_i_get_rid_of_onedrive_forever/

I've tried this option, and the game did loaded, which made me happy for a whole minute, but after starting a new game there was a message of some files missing, and then I was pushed back to the main menu. Any advice on this?
