I can no longer play my gameplay normally

I started Bus Simulator 21 today and a nasty surprise awaited me there. When I started the game (with the same Steam account as always) I was greeted by the screen that you see when you start the game for the very first time. Furthermore, the language settings have been reset from German to English. I then restarted the game and was able to load my game save after all. However, my level display was back to zero. By clicking on my company settings, the reason why my level was back to zero became clear to me: I am only a player in my own score, similar to multiplayer. Among other things, I can no longer create or edit routes because I don't have the rights to do so. Restarting the game, Steam or my PC didn't change anything.

Try creating a new company, or pick another one. Not sure if that helps

I had this problem, I Un-Installed the game and Re-Installed it. Touch wood as we say here in the UK, all is good so far!

Same problem here. Where is my savegame and my company??!? (20 hours of game!!!!).
Un-installed and re-installed doesn't work at all.

I am truly sorry guys it didn't work for you, but! It did for me and I can only write here, what I did and the result of that.
