school bus afternoon shift

How can I drive the school bus afternoon shift? My school busses spawn in the depot exactly when the school ends (3 o'clock in the afternoon), they drive to the school and however the school busses are full of children.

I thought they drive the route backwards, from school to the last served stop before school and so on (like the same route in the morning just backwards). However some of the busses drive to the school and they drive the afternoon route completely empty, others only serve one or to stop in the afternoon and all of them finish at the school again?

Normal routing for the morning tour would be: Stop 1 - Stop 2 ... Stop 7 - Stop 8 - Last Stop School
Normal routing for the afternoon tour: School - Stop 8 - Stop 7 ... Stop 2 - Stop 1.

However they drive in the afternoon exactly like in the morning but completely empty (School - Stop 1 - Stop 2 ... Stop 8 - School).

Does anyone else has the same problem as me? Is it a bug and will be fixed or do I do something wrong?

After selecting a school bus route in the list you can choose if you want to drive the morning route (start at the first stop in the district, collecting children in the school's district and drive them to their school) or the afternoon route (start at the school and collecting children at the school and afterwards drive them back to their home bus stops).
