Any reason to run CNG or Electric instead of "Fuel" (Diesel ones)?
I haven't done much testing, but ran fuel one and cng on the same route and for some reason cng actually earned less than normal fuel one, while costing more than x3 price on the normal (fuel) one. Am I missing something? or are they added for the quests only and there is no other real reason to use them?

This could definitely be wrong, I just heard someone say it in a twitch stream and I'm not sure if it was a joke or not. I'm not far enough in the game to know but they said that you need CNG to drive in some nicer cities so I'm not sure if the money when comparing them maybe different in different cities?

That is the case for Golden Island where you need CNG bus for the quest, but you can get away with using normal one after the quest is complete

There is also some quest to have electric bus. One is to have 20% of your fleet electric.

But is there a point apart from quests?

Are the fuel buses considered the diesel buses???

every bus not only cost different prices to buy but also costs different to maintain and operate. Some costs less from fuel types.
