Can someone explain to me the demand number?
What does it mean? I have 10/4 for Gold Island.

When you purchase buses and view the information, look for the line called "bus load" that is your demand number. For example the first 5 or so buses will have a bus load of 2. So if your route demand is 0/2 (unassigned buses) < get a bus that has the bus load of 2. Where you have a very long/loads of stops route that number can be 0/9 or more. The maximum bus load for buses at the moment is 4 so for routes that require more, simply buy and add more buses to the timetable of that specific route.

You have 10/4 for Gold Island. That means you have too many buses assigned for that route and exceeding demand. You only need to put 1 bus with a bus load of 4 or get 2 buses with a bus load of 2. If those numbers were the other way around, like 4/10 it would mean you'd need additional buses to meet the demand, either 2 buses with a bus load of 3, 3 buses with a bus load of 2 or 1 bus with a bus load of 4 and 1 bus with a bus load of 2. Hope this helps.

Hey SpeedyRetreat!

Please take a look at this tutorial by GameTechUK to learn more about the demand system:

I appreciate it! But I meant more the demand numbers in the route window, not the system. I have a few like 3/4, and 10/4. What do those numbers mean?

Hi SpeedyRetreat,
can you make a screenshot where we could see what you mean with 10/4?

Ive been having an issue with screenshots on steam, but when you go into the tab menu, and click on your route, it shows the income, route time, peak hours and all that. Its in that list beside "demand"

First of all thanks for you answer i do now understand what you are refering on. if you hit "F" you will get more information about whats meant by the demand.

To sum it up:
first numberpair show you the demand for full time busses
second numberpair shows you the demand for peaktime busses
in every numberpair the first number is the number of average passengers a bus is able to transport at this time, the second ist the number of buses assigned to peak- or full time

Thanks so much. The definition was a bit confusing in game, but that makes it much more clear! Thanks!
