Press the reset button and wait a moment, the elevator should return down after a few seconds.
Also the halfpipe at the bottom is really laggy though, again, that may just be Proton.
I eventually got up by doing the same precise jump as OP, managing to gain enough height to hit the elevator "call" volume for the upper floor, then the platform pushed me one last time and I reached the upper floor. Said volume seems to be entirely within the elevator shaft, not including any part of the upper floor.
