Why MK sucks

The only reason you people buy this game is because you like the over the top gore.. The actual game itself? It sucks.

It is just a spam fest, and people can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you straight off the ground into broken chains they learned watching some virgin on youtube.

This is what i hate about fighters with excessive combos, it lets ♥♥♥♥♥♥ players google the best combo and just copy it into their chimp brains.

Combos are NOT skilled. The only skilled part in a fighter is landing that first hit. Chimping some muscle memory combo out is NOT skill, and i can't take fighters seriously that allow it.

You may as well just save everyone's time and have them punch for the damage the combo does. It achieves exactly the same thing, but saves everyone time.

Street Fighter V as a game is just soooo much better.. Seriously. Yea, it doesn't have the fun over the top gore, but atleast it isn't some mindless spam fest where people don't even really fight, they just fling stuff at eachother all game.

This is how you take MK11, but I don't see what's the problem with combos, there are more core issues,

I wish I like SF or another fighting game but they all look too Japanese to me.

yepp, personally i hate MK11, for gameplay reasons also, but mostly i hate it for what it did to the lore, to characters, to character looks, and single player game modes, infested with mobile game tactics, not to mention the mobile game style ingame shop.
The gameplay feels extremely limited, especially compared to MK9 where there were a lot more options to combine strings and special moves.
Unless something dramatically changes back to the ways of good old days, this will be my last MK game, and that makes me quite sad, and angry at NRS and WB.

On SF, i dont like that game, i hate its control scheme, vskills and vtriggers are just too clunky to activate and use, at least to me, though granted i didnt play it that much. The only thing i like about SF is the vast amount of costumes available for characters(which is obviously expolited by the devs) and the fact that its moddable.

no, it's not true, and steet fighter v looks more boring and stupider than mk. Mk just needs to nerf or remove ceteriolo and jacqui

For me it's the opposite. I think the gore is really too much in this game, but I love the mechanics much better than any other fighting game. And it brings me back to when we were playing MK4 on the couch with friends.

combos are ok but some characters deal too much dmg,spamming,jumping,8 wakeup options, no wifi filter etc

for one i will say that mk11 is not a great game for online play. KL is just a ♥♥♥♥ show with too many wifi users and people who like to use the cheapest character for minimal gain. I will say that you saying that sf and other fighting games look too japanese is actually an equivalent to being racist. Far as combo reps are concerned you need to optimize your combos and actually get good. I like to see combo conversions and get better in matchups. In this game though i cannot progress because too many players with bad connections ♥♥♥♥ up my inputs. I am personally not ok with that.
