He said disabling it does not work...
& you cant just ignore the Symbol
changes...
Your forgetting that the controller just randomly stops working all together, & that the buttons randomly change in the middle of fights...
Obviously ignoring the xbox button layout isnt an option for everyone...
Im not using 3rd party software, either,
nor does changing my controller also
fix the problem, either...
Also exactly, color coded buttons are superior.
On the colour coded buttons, but that's my point. It's no different because the colours are wrong unless you mod the game. Also, I think there are mods for DS4 button prompts for MK11, as a workaround if it isn't working for you. I'm not sure how to go about installing those and if they're okay for online etc.
Could you show me a screenshot of your exact big picture settings for controller stuff?
As for Tekken, even though the colors are wrong... The button placement is still the same.
The PS4 button layout? with the
L & R buttons, too?
I dont mind the xbox button layout,
I just dont like it being used for all controllers...
For me, seeing the wrong colours in Tekken is just as bad as seeing the wrong symbols XD. Can't play without the PS button layout.

Pretty sure
I have the V2 DS4 which you can tell apart from the V1 controller pretty easily. The V2 controller has a light bar[images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com] at the top of the touchpad. Whereas, the V1 controller [www.pricerunner.com] does not.
Not sure if this relevant though. I'm thinking it's probably driver related.
Worst comes to worst you can probably just use a PS Buttons replacement mod
Can you verify if this works with other controllers, or only the DS4 V2 controller, as you said it might be a
specific controller thing...
I'm having the same problem, can't get the Hori Fighting Commander PS4 to show the right icons.
