PS5 Controller not recognized

Greetings,

The game MK11, does not recognize my controller as a Playstation 5 Controller, it's the Xbox instead (the game is running over the PC). Is there any solution to fix this? It's a bit annoying because it's basically for every game like this.

Right click on the game in your steam library , Properties , Controller
Make sure it is set to PlayStation and if you don't have the option just disable steam inputs and use DS5 or DSX applications

Disable steam input and connect it to the PC via USB.

yea one... reinstall windows . Most likely windows did something on their end, or you had another controller driver that is conflicting . None of my controllers would work on steam but i decided to reinstall and now they all work right out of the box without steam input or any other software .
