Where do we unlock Kitana's "Edenian Blue" costume?
The game says that it's located at the Krypt, but I"m not sure where exactly.

Unless you can see it in a "Summoned Tower" -- the only place that will display the awards outside of the "Premium Shop" -- it's all RNG, and "diminishing returns" at that.

They implemented a system whereby, unless something is locked behind the odious Tower challenges (which are mostly designed not to be beaten, rather, "Time Krystal'd" past), it's purely RNG -- capping at approx. 1/3 total content unlocked.

That is, once you open all Krypt content nodes (chests, souls etc.), and exhausted the Shrine (100K for skins, 75K~99,999 for gear / finishers etc.), the only way to acquire content that's not throw-away "Konsumables" or insulting "icons", is through either the Summon Towers -or- the time-limited "Premium Shop" (i.e., using their surrogate currency, Time Krystals).

tl;dr -- You can't -- it's a luck of the draw. 👈

Yea the above post is right. Even the Summons Towers become tiresome and boring. I'm on Kitana and now I have to pay 100k coins and 100 souls. Whoever designed this clearly designed it like the mobile game system and it's terrible.

Supposedly, using her 'Marigold' skin(which is a 100-heart chest item) and pressing 'Start' when selecting which variation to use will swap the colors to 'Edenian Blue'. I guess this is just the way to 'force' the game to use the 2P color in the event both players use the same color or something.

Nice! that trick just got me the Jade skin I have been looking for.

Can't you reset the krypt and try again?

Think I got mine from the Shrine, or maybe her head chest

I can confirm that. I main Kitana, and that's exactly what I do. And being a heart chest, Marigold is in the same spot every time. I don't remember where it is, but OP can google it if he really really wants it.

Still haven't found Edenia Blue.

You can see for yourself with the outfit Kitana gets from Story Mode. It's blue and black. Press start and it's gold and black. Edenia Blue / Marigold is literally the same thing minus the cape.

NOTE: When you press start, your outfit will NOT change colors at the character select screen. Wait for the match to start. It'll be blue/black Edenia blue there.

Resetting the krypt really doesn't do anything. It's worth it to reset once to get the Soul things to come back, but after I opened about 50 more Soul containers they stopped giving me skins and they're barely giving me gear. The best I've gotten from a normal chest is artwork. Everything else is literally augments, forge items, and konsumables.

Only option, really, is the Shrine. 100k = skins. I've dumped a couple million in the shrine, and as of my last visit it was still giving skins. But who knows how much longer that'll last.

Nope. Not from the head chest, nor Shang Tsung's throne room, nor from the Shao Kahn heart chest. I think those are all Revenant outfits. They're definitely NOT Edenia Blue.

That's why they were put on the latter, because I have it... and my Shrine just gives a lot of augments at 100k tier...

After awhile youll get augments almost 24/7 at 100k. Spent like 40-50,000,000 coins total and at this point all I get are augments from 75-100k gold per roll. I don't even have that much unlocked lol

100k never gave me any augment it only gives skins and there are many krypt guide on the internet also claims this so I have no idea how others can get anything else but skins for 100k. Maybe you gave 99k or less by mistakes a few times?

He and I and others have spent way more at the shrine than you. Yes, it gives skins 99% of the time AT FIRST. But after awhile it dries up and gives nothing. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Well, eventually you're going to get them all So there's nothing left.". Problem: Right now I can go to Kustomize, peruse all the skins, and count 29 marked as "Found in the Krypt.". Then I can go over to the Krypt and spend 5 million wherever your heart desires. It doesn't matter. Chests? Forge items. Hidden chests? Augments. Soul containers? Augments. Kronika orbs? Consumables. Shrine (75k or 100k, doesn't matter)? Both give only augments.

If you don't believe me, keep dumping coins into the shrine. Eventually you will see for yourself that all those internet guides were made the first week and never really updated, assuming of course the people making them played enough to actually get to the dry spell.

It's kinda like reading a review for a game by someone who clearly didn't get past the first level.
