Terrible performance on new pc
So I just got a new pc with a i9-12900F and a 3070 TI and the performance is just terrible for some reason. I'm getting weird framerate stutters even on the main menu.
The game ran very smoothly on my old pc with a I5 and a 1070 what in the world could be the problem?
Other games are running just fine.

EDIT
I did find a fix for this (I think). It's kinda cumbersome but at least it seems to work. After you've launched the game go to task manager (ctrl +alt +del) then details, then find mk11, right click on it, choose affinity and select use all processors.
It's annoying and you have to do it every time you launch the game but at least it seems to work (I haven't played the game extensively to test though). I really wish they'd just update the game.

what worked for me was set everything to low then quit the game after that run the game and the autoconfig if that doesn't work try messing with shadows / particles some people said turning off xbox dvr also helps them so theres a lot of things to try.

I think it's the CPU family as I have a 12700k and can't get a stable framerate at all. I've disabled the E cores, enabled and disabled resizable bar, I even tried the Game Pass version but nothing has helped. It's a constant issue, I scroll through the menu and it hitches for seconds on end like my system is struggling to keep up @ 1080p 60Hz on low settings. 32GB DDR4 @ 3600, Nvidia RTX 3080 10GB, Windows 10 21H2, latest drivers.

This is the only game I've played that I have these issues in. I played through Injustice 2 last night at my native res (3440x1440p) with everything maxed, no issues. Cyberpunk plays well on my rig with DLSS performance mode/RT on medium and usually get around 70-90FPS.

What.Is.Wrong.With.MK11????

Thanks, I'll give it a shot at some point but installing/uninstalling this game is giving me SSD anxiety as it's just so incredibly large. Next time I want to play I'll try out your work-around.

Im using an I9 10850 k and similar issues. I am using a RTX 3080ti too. The video isnt too bad, jerky frame rate every now and then. The big thing I am getting is stuttering audio. The audio cuts in and out real fast. Ive never had this before.

I am going to try not running it in dx12. Did anyone try that?

Good to know. So you have seen that on a reliable source? Hard to believe they wouldnt take care of that problem, the game is 3 years old. Id bet that more than half their users are running Nvidia.

The same thing is happening to me I have a gtx 1060 6gb i7 12700k and 32gb ram and the game jerks all the time, in the menus in the game it always drops to 15fps
and the strangest thing is that before with the same graphics card 16 ram and an i5 7500 the game was perfect.

What will be happening!

If you find a solution let me know that I need it thank you very much

Oh, that may prove very helpful to those of us having trouble. Since mine is running fine for now I wont try it, but if it acts up again I will try this.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just built a monster rig...

-12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900KS
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
-ASUS Maximus Z690 Hero Motherboard
-64GB DDR5 RAM
-1080p 60/75Hz monitor

Every other AAA game played flawlessly on Ultra graphics, but not MK11. Even on MINIMUM settings, there was crazy stutter and slow motion... the autoconfig wouldn't even finish because of low frame rate... I tried your CPU fix, and it WORKED. Perfectly! Plays like butter on ULTRA.

Thanks!!

Thats great, so now we have another confirmation. Luckily I didnt have to do that. i just turned down some of the settings and it was fine. I have a 3080ti.

This fix worked for me as well on my i7-12700k with a 1070. Thanks
