I play in true 4K 4096x2160. Playing in true 4K makes everything look very crunched together in the cinematics and the fighting gameplay is still the same, but the cinematics being capped at 30 fps probably explains why... Even though i have cinematic 60 fps option turned on it's still capped.
the 4k ones are probably upscaled versions of 1080p cutscenes, but if you take screenshots of 1080p cutscenes running at 4k, and 4k cutscenes also at 4k you should spot minor diferences, like less artifacts on color grading
but given the fact that krushing blows, fatal blows, finishers, intros and outros are rendered in game downloading that 4k patch is kinda pointless, since you're not likely to play story mode over and over
it's a waste of disk space imo given the little difference it makes
they should have definetly remake them in 60fps to match the rest of game
