How to get ready in coop towers?

I swear to god I smashed ALL the buttons on keyboard and controller it just wont set my status ready?!

this sht is so ridiculous, so many times when your teammates lost their nerves and left - and you couldn't do anything to trigger 'ready' status other that wait for the countdown over and over

There MUST be a way.. maybe I'm just dumb.
Usually you just choose your char. and that's it. Is there any known fix for this bug?

Shouldn't it just trigger instantly once team is full? At least the one which you can't actually do solo. I played it yesterday and i didn't need to press anything. Character Select screen just loaded when third player joined our team, otherwise there is some sort of countdown timer before it begins

Disconnect internet
Alt + F4
Ctrl+Shift+Esc -> search for MK11 process -> End task
Power

then retry.

One of these must work.

Right usually it should but somehow it today always happens team is full and I dont get the screen to choose my character and they wait for 80 seconds before they leave with 7000 to go on the countdown clock.. Even I wouldnt wait 2 hours to see if I finally get to choose someone to get ready.
Sometimes it triggers, sometimes it doesn't and that really sucks.
