Cheaters
So, a lot of cheaters online that slowdown FPS to the extent the game is unplayable.

Looks like no one bans them. I saw them last month, i see them now.

now If you wanna play online its not just sheevas and jade players spamming, now we have cheaters. Enjoy!

In the beginning being paired with Bogard and Semperfy was rare, they are well known cheaters (the fps slowing ones) and you just have to accept it. I reached demigod a few times, but close to the end being paired with them is just outraging. NetherRealm being deaf doesn't help.

Then, arrived Sheeva, and I had to learn another character to deal with her, since Sub Zero is too weak to her stomp. And NetherRealm answer to Sheeva has been to ban the #WhyDidNRSdoThis player. Good job.

Now, if you see username in cyrillic, rest assured that you have to be quick in finishing the match. And don't even think of winning using a fatal blow. Once opponent is around 200 points of health, they just disconnect before losing ranked points.

Just now, I won the first match using subzero against a guy with cyrillic username (flawless, brutality, we had the same win/lose count ratio in ranked). He switched to Sheeva, and I've been stomped away and teabagged. I switched to Fujin, and as he was almost dead (130 life points), he disconnected.

I see this script repeating so, so often. If username is in cyrillic, chances are I'm wasting my time. I'll do my ten days for the reward, and then I'm done with this kombat league.

Thanks netherrealm.

So, basically you can just print screen the online top and you can clearly see who cheats and ban them. Why r they so deaf to the community?

Money. Money they don't want to spend in allocation resources to address the issue. Money they don't want to lose, since cheaters is a big portion these days. Or that's my opinion.

You cannot cheat online in MK11, the game will automatically desync the moment it detects any changes to objects. "Cheaters" are only manipulating network speed so the game code executes slow down/low fps code to reduce internet lag and make it somewhat "playable".

I can agree that you cannot cheat to have an easy win, but you can surely cheat to avoid loss:
- you can disconnect before the last round ends
- you can slow down your network, to make it unplayable (and you are not allowing your opponent to combo either, if you are a bad player that works too)
- you can slow down the fps (like users semperfy / bogard) and pick a character with no combo / easy punish (fujin for user semperfy, cassie cage and spam with the gun for user bogard)
- you can actually combine above tactics

As an example, I faced Bogard at demigod level (he was elder god, I was fresh demi god). I was wiping him from the beginning, so he started to slow down the fps mid-first-round. I cornered him, and regardless of the slow fps, I was still winning. And then gameplay literally froze in time, like you press pause but there is no pause menu. If this is not cheating, I don't know what counts as cheating then...

So, you cannot cheat to win, but you can avoid point loss by using above tactics, which - to me - is cheating.

The worst cheating nowadays is the type of cable pull that makes the match desync as if the match never happened. This is how so many bad players are able to rack up huge win streaks. They just repeat this trick. Last season I looked at this one guys profile, all his KL sets had like 1 match only. Cause he can never win all 2 out of 3 matches in a set.

Yeah, the game has excellent network code so anytime something weird like full on desync happens it's usually the other player. Just recorded a match today against a Shao Khan player. He was winning 1 - 0 the match, but I won the second game. Then "magically" the game de-synced just as I was performing a fatality. LOL but the other hundred matches play just fine. I don't mind, but I would prefer a respectful opponent, that always super fun even if I loose.

I thought about trying that the other day, just to see if it's really that easy. You just unplug your ethernet cable? Will it work if you just turn on your PC's airplane mode?

Regardless...lol at the cheaters. I mean, what's the point? "I have 1000 wins in a row! But I suck at the game!" Nobody cares, lmao. Except maybe people who keep making these threads, but still...good job cheaters, you pissed off some random people online. Bet that was worth all the time you wasted. Enjoy your garbage KL skins that everyone already has from the original season 2 or the meteor towers.

If you go to the top leaderboards, you can see all the crazy recordings of players who played against the most top tier players. So many videos of lagswitchers freezing their opponents and just nut punch them to death. NRS just watch their playerbase get abused by cheaters daily.

Technically you can cheat to win.... in the towers I've seen players blatantly use hacks to take no damage from attacks (but at least in that case it's not cheating against a player just the AI still scummy part of the fun (minus the final boss) is the challenge)

Well expected from anything released under WB banner, They simply won't fund the devs, and WB won't care how much anyone complains because DEI is more important to sink money into than a working game with happy customers.
They say there are no online cheats for mk11 ...but i still think that maybe yes ( maybe there are some lag switches - and thats the cheat ) but if you check top players in leaderboards they are not exist, their steam profiles are some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ numbers only :D ...It also plays a big role in the mk11 fight, connection, internet, gamepad you use (some have a big delay) and another details...
