Other non-DLC OP characters are Kano, Kabal, sometimes Scorpion, who I find their offensive attack speed to be ridiculous OP to the point the game punishes you if you block their attack by not slowing their blocked hit but instead giving you no window to counter attack their attack you blocked, so those playing those characters will just exploit the unbalanced-ness of the game and just spam attacks against you. With "Sometimes Scorpion" it is mainly those OP speed teleport attacks he can do at any point. I don't like how they completely OP this move in comparison to Scorpion's teleport attack from the past. It never was always on perfect target hit back in the original MK games. But now he can do at any chance and it annoys me that it's faster than everyone else's teleport.
I feel like this game is really broken in a lot ways now than it ever ways before.
I wonder how much the corona pandemic played a part, as I don't think they put in nearly the game tests needed upon update/and new DLC char adds, so a lot of the stuff I'm seeing got me scratching my head and wondering how did this get allowed?
Google how to avoid the command grabs.
Go lab the moves that you have problems with.
Scorpions teleport for example can be blocked and punished by most combos. If you can't combo into that just grab him....
Also if I remember correctly, to get that KB he needs to run a long distance, like almost fullscreen. Even someone as slow as myself can react to that.
And if you're not sure if the player is going to try and mix it up with the uppercut move instead. Jump backwards. Both the uppercut and tackle will whiff.
Is not about how far he is fron the oponent, is about how many frames the start up last before going to active frames
That's why terminator, shang tsung or jacqui can connect that type of KB during combos
