It is supposedly the finale, and they are in the opening video. They are my favorite characters personally (Love Sci-fi stuff, especially cyborgs and robots), and if they are in this, I will likely get it, if they aren't, I wont.

Well.......if it was for the sake of Alita and DC's Cyborg, I would be willing to make that trade, as love both of those characters and think they would be pretty cool in MK.

Well that's wrong, Mortal Kombat Armageddon had the largest roster in the series, a game that is now over a decade old by the way.

And yeah it is lazy, because Sektor and Cyrax are in the game, you even fight them in the story mode, but the developers got lazy and didn't follow through on making them playable characters. Sektor and Cyrax are two of the most popular MK characters, not including either of them as playable characters is baffling and stupid decision making on their part.

I meant of the modern Neverrealm games, but fair enough I wrote it wrong. Even then though, second most isn't some horrible knock on the game, and I'm pretty sure the 3D console games of the 2000s were not looked on very favorably in general. Certainly not like 9-11 have been anyway.

Anyway, complain all you like one of your faves isn't in the game. Johnny Cage not being in MK3 still causes me nightmares today! But it's not laziness, that's the silly comment I am replying to. They made other choices and used other characters, simple as that.

cage, baraka and raiden were added in mk3trilogy though :^)

again, players don't have to appreciate every choice made by designers, simple as that

I agree, was just triggered by the lazy term. I prefer MKX so I definitely feel ya on wishing they made different choices.

They ARE in the game, just only in the story mode, so you CAN fight them a few times but can't play as them.

It just sucks they ditched a perfectly good MK title for an Injustice 3 only a few years in it's release. MK11 felt like it was supposed to go on way longer. I mean freaking Tekken 7 still get praise and content to this day but you don't see them quitting it out. I think it's a waste and we should have gotten more characters and worlds to the game cause imo MK is the best of the fighting genre. To never get an Ermac, Reptile, Cyrax, Sektor or Kronika herself, it is disheartening. NRS made a stupid move on this.
