Corrupted files after every update

Regardless of how big or small the update is, there seems to be always at least 1 or 2 small files that gets corrupted every time.
If you were to just update and start the game, it start fine and it looks fine, like nothing is wrong, but when you start to play, rather sooner you will get a popup telling you that some random file is corrupted and the game simply closes.
The way to fix this ofc, is to perform an integrity check so then steam sees this files and downloads them properly, so then the game will then not crash on random.
This has been happening since day 1 and after every update/patch, It seems like they are completely skipping QA for the updates, at least on pc.
It's not the same file very time, so it's difficult to say for sure what's causing it, but one is sure, this is not how You test a pc update.

it's a sort of common issue across all the games on pc

it has more to do with the fact that you might have an error during download due to a microsecond stutter on your internet connection or also an error when installing it due to the way that windows writes info on the hard drives, the issue will most commonly happen when an update has to replace a big file within the game (something MK11 does sadly)

is not really a game issue and files verification is recommended to every pc game after installing an update regardless of the platform (steam, origin, uplay, etc)

use a torrent for example, there's always going to be corrupted data when downloading, it can be 1byte or 5mb but it will show and error ALWAYS

I've actually never had any problems with the torrented files, verifying the integrity of the downloaded files is something that was needed(at least in my case) probably some 20 years ago, when nor the torrents, or the softwares were as good as they are nowadays.

It's still interesting how I've had issues with every MK11 update, and absolutely no issues with other games, some of which even updates 2-3 times a day.

yes true, i was getting that as well all the time with the corrupted file crap after every update, but today i got even worse, as i was in practice mode doing free training with FUJIN, and everytime i would press the X button on my Xbox controller it would show the command buttons A and X on screen, and instead of doing a normal front punch it would do his throw move instead, and this didn't happen when i first got the DLC and used fujin for the first time, so yeah once again another broken update for me anyway has rendered the game unplayable, because like i said when i press the X button on my controller it does a throw move and their is absolutely nothing wrong with my controller and like i also this was not an issue when i first downloaded and installed the aftermath DLC it just happened today after this 8.7 GB update and quite frankly i have had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough of it, so i am not playing this game again until they fix this and if its not fixed by the next update i will just uninstall and remove the game from my account, because i have had enough of this broken game and i will just stick with Mortal Kombat 10 instead, at least it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works really good still
