CTD - Directx device was removed?
i often get crashes in MK11 with the message the directx11 device was removed, tried directx11 and 12. I don't have any problems with other games, so what's the issue here? it's a rtx2070 super btw with newest nvidia drivers.

The stupid thing is, it happens at towers where i advanced far and have to restart all over again. Is this some kind of joke?!

well ive been playing this game since 3rd day of release and i have no issues running dx11 or dx12 . if you have an nvidia card that could come with its own set of issues. many nvidia users have issues with the drivers to run this game. I have AMD rx580 . Crashing on towers ? well crashes for this game happen often during releases of new characters. Don't worry nrs always updates this game like ALWAYS . If you have issues just report it on TWITTER at nrs, tylerlandsdown, noobde, etc. They always hop on it. If you only post on steam they won't see it .

as for your CTD'S check your programs, ram , etc. make sure all of your drivers are up to date.
make sure windows isn't doing some update in the background!!!! that will crash the game.

bottom line if you still get crashes just wait for the next mk11 patch and you'll be good . Runs flawlessly for me . So it may be an issue with your recent driver.

well, i thought it was crashing on DX12 aswell, but i started the game on DX11 today, so up to now i can only confirm it crashing on DX11, like the message indicates aswell, but played too less on DX12 to say it's "safe".

i looked on reddit etc. i'm not the only one with a nvidia card.

The game has known issues with rtx 20xx cards

Dx11 will crash often, for rtx xards is recommended to play in dx12 mode

it just happened in DX12 too, so not 'safe' aswell...strange it still shows the 'directx11 device was removed' popup which is probably bad coding. I have injustice2 from the same company, no issues there at all.

Moniter the temp of the card. Temp spikes can cause that exact error aswell.
Something mk11 related may be causing a temp spike

it's definately not my card, 60° max temp. i have this issue since i bought this game 2 weeks ago and no other games showed any issues at all during this time even in the hottest summer ^^

game freezes, cursor is still working, only if you switch to desktop you can browse through the tabs and see the little popup, directx11 device missing. otherwise you wouldn't even see the popup.

Have you tried, I know this sounds stupid, But taking gpu out and reinstalling it.
Failing that, chuck it in another bay if u can? Just to rule stuff out. Could be a power spike issue. It could be that, at that specific moment. For some reason the card couldnt get sufficient power. And theres a chance only Mk11 is pushing it to that level.

Another thing to try is removing as many usbs as u can and then run the game

this game is not even demanding to my gpu tbh. it's not the only game i have played recently, i can clearly be sure, it's not my gpu, cpu, ram, psu or something like that.

Games which constantly demand my gpu and cpu (like BF5 multiplayer for several hours) have no issues at all...like any other game i have on my PC....and i never had any issues since i bought the card, just the time i play MK11, since day1 and ONLY MK11
