So F3 is an amazing mid (one of the top 5 in the game), it's 9 frame but -11 if you stop there which means almost never Jax player gonna stop here. Its almost always gonna be F3,3 (thats -4 on block) or F3,3,1+3 (thats -7 so you can punish it your reactions are on point).
He isn't + on anything here so basicaly you're just slow to react. It's pretty much always your turn here. Also Jax reach is pretty limited (as is his zoning) he can really struggle vs characters who can just keep him half screen away (he has an way in with the special but you can fish for it and KB him for trying).
That being said, Jax is a solid character, it's a shame so few people actualy play him.
Yeah, just like in almost ANY fighting game when you guess incorretely on a stagger and oponnent just full combo you.
Thou in Jax case you will most llikely eat only like 5-10% and knd. 35% scenarios are unlikely unless you get hit with KB here (so he either has to have arms heated or throw KB).
Also you seem really salty at MK 11. ;)
Mash against him. It works.
Non trainable reaction speed is needed to Sleep him good, and Fold that guy up real good once and for all.
which basically means that you can interrupt his follow-ups with your fastest counter mid.
f33g - is also flawlessblockable (but it'll cost you two bars to use a fl.block attack)
what hit should I interrupt him after - still it's guessing game for him as
well.so - I strongly suggest you to learn flawless blocking his overheads - so
you may give him some troubles by turning some of his option to not-so-vialable
As a general rule of thumb just try keeping him away, Jax has a bad time when he's not in your face.
Yes of course because guessing is the best part of MK 11 as we all agree especially when heated Jax comes to you after successful FB (because you cant react to that one especially online) and you have to guess his mix up that may in the end turns into a grab that is another 50/50 (just like in any other fighting game right?)
Also are there even things that you think that they should change in this game? because at that point you seem like another fanboy from reddit ;)
Guessing is a part of any fighting game. It may take different forms but it is still about guessing and decision making process.
I'm fully aware of MK 11 shortcomings. I never said it's a perfect game - it isn't not even close but for me after the total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which was MK X a total 50/50 game; MK 11 is a big step in the right direction.
I agree with pretty much everything other good players say that should be changed. That list includes: more negative pokes, you cant cancel pokes, unsafe d2, one time use FB (even if it doesn't connect), FB don't push you away on block so it always punishable, remove of flawless blocks which on higher level is used just like armored launchers in MK X, futher toning down of jumping attacks, removing KB for escape failed throws for characters which are designed with in your face playstyle with good staggers (that includes Jax), futher frames adjustments, fixing hitboxes / whiff issues on several moves which should connect in certain scenarios, add option to always decline wifi players in KL and more...
We actualy talked about it like 3 days ago on Dragon stream, with Ninja, Kombat and few others. Also i dont even read reddit.
Anybody can like or disslike MK 11 it's just nice if you can actualy explain what you dont like, give examples, give solutions not just "hate it coz... i hate it".
He can eat your health easily after using speedy FB that eats 1/3 of your health bar and then he stays heated up and it continues into easy dmg from a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grab or other 2 KBs.
What I want to say is that the mechanic of being heated up in my opinion is done wrong.I got no problem with the idea of doing higher dmg on combos while being heated up.Many characters in many games have this mechanic but the idea of doing easy KBs that deals +30% on such things like grab only because he is heated up what you can easily achive by doing unreactble FB is just hilarious, no matter how good you were playing he can just eat your health bar without even trying.
