Heres one for you...

Kintaro, Goro, & Sheeva are all meerly the same Type chars, but yet even though Kintaro is like a beefed up Goro Char... Kintaro is still not of the same Race...

Shao Kahn not a Shokan?
Kintaro is not of the same Race as Goro?

No idea behind Ed Boon's Chars, but their still cool, regardless...

Also, draco lineage is considered to be like a royal bloodline
Tigrar ones are the lesser race, not beefed up like versions and they are constantly in feud with each other
