most likely by either finishing the game or do any tasks that will make them unlocked

it means you have to complete something in the game in order to get the character.

Baraka, Skarlet, Jade, Kabal, Shang Tsung and Frost are the only cool characters that deserve to be back.

Too many Klassics that alwready were in MKX, too many special forces (Jax, Jacquie, Sonya, Kano, even Kung Lao and Mileena deserve a break).
Too many MKX returning.
The new characters SUCK: Geras, Kollector and Cetrion seem bland as ♥♥♥♥.
D'Vorah, Erron and Kotal were so much more inspired than them, what happened ?
The 2 new just look like elves painted in blue and green, it almost screems fake.
And Geras is the Jax N°2 from a design stand point.
Only 3 male ninjas, where are Rain and Smoke ?
I'm ok with Reptile, Ermac and Tremor missing the game, but at least replace them with the ninjas that were not in MKX ><
And the worst addition, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Shinnok, why does the boss from MKX have to come back ?

I mean NRS must have lost their mind or smoke something to make such terrible picks.

I believe the pictures are true, but I won't get too excited over the list. It could be fake way too easily. Wait and see, but for now Noob Saibot is good news.

no the list is real. they showed you in the pics..nrs di say their would be unlockables and also 6 dlc characters were promised in the season pass...AND 6 SLOTS ARE EMPTY!

good thing NRS dont hear you, your opnions are divergent as possible from what most of the fans really wanted, and you didnt even SAW the new characters to call them bland, really dude, get a life and stfu....

Really? Fans wanted a sequel that is 2/3 the same as the last game? This looks like a mediocre expansion pack, not a full blown sequel worth waiting 4 years for. I already thought MKX used too many characters from MK9 and they repeated the same formula with this one. The only noteworthy additions are Baraka, Skarlet, Jade, Kabal, and maybe Frost. Almost everyone else is the same as MKX. It's basically a $60 Kombat Pack 3. There are 80 characters in MK history to draw on and they keep using the same ones over and over instead. It's just boring this is what we ended up with, another Special Forces gangbang with the more unique characters getting benched again.
