btw i still have the original cd rom, i tried it on windows 10 a few months ago and it worked
i couldn't install it but just copying the files from cd to my hdd was enough for it to work
i don't remember if i had to download a no-cd .exe
it recognized my xbox one controller but i had to remap every button using the in game menu and i think i wasn't able to play on full screen (the game has 4:3 ratio res and it's with bars even at max resoution)
maybe this gog version is updated so it can be played at full screen with 19:6 resolution
also mk 1+2+3 is 71 cents on gog right now
I also used ro have the rarer version of mk2. The floppy disk Dos Version of MK2.
It was a solid port. Used to run it on my ol' 166mhz voodoo1 AST (now gone) PC.
Also the GoG version has the 3DFX support, also runs in widescreen and you can play it in even 4K.
I've bought it in the second I've seen it's on GOG and I am encouraging others to do the same.
I always been crazy for MK4 and even though I have multiple copies of the original CDs, but I had to buy this and beaten it in Very Hard difficulty.
Is $1 cause the HD remake is coming out. They still need to release MK trilogy, the greatest MK of all time.
What about the hd remake? Is that true? I haven't found nothing but rumors
