How Many Times is Resetting the Krypt Actually Worth it?

Yesterday I finished the Krypt after fully restocking it for the first time. I found only one skin and maybe two gear from soul chests. The rest of the chests gave me nothing but useless things such as consumables and Krypt items. It was disappointing, especially since I didn't even find Scorpion's second fatality. I had to cheat by looking up the inputs and performing it in the tutorial to unlock it, because I wasn't sure if going through the entire Krypt a third time would be worthwhile.

Has anybody cleared the whole Krypt more than twice? If yes then was it worth it?

Yes don't stop. Is endless. Open all the boxes in the entire krypt. Reset the kronika vault to max, like it won't take any more coins. Then open all the boxes again. Repeat. Get like 1000s of skeleton keys. Trade it to kollector for the best gears. Those are expensive like 200 x skeleton keys for 1 gear.

I know about skeleton keys but I don't think any item from Kollector is worth the massive time and effort it requires to get 200 keys. IIRC he demands skeletons keys for towers rather gear anyway.

Instead I'm wondering how many times I should restock the Krypt and still expect to get skins and gear from the chests. I just reset the soul chests for the third time but didn't get any skins or gear. I even kept resetting that particular soul chest in the dead woods that costs 2000 soul fragments, but still gave me no skins or gear after restocking it ten times.

I think I should just restock the normal chests and not bother with soul chests anymore.

I have reset the Krypt for many many times. I have earned many useful Konsumables and Augments from the Krypt. However, every time when I enter the Krpyt, I have not opened all chested, but I open in specific areas at a time. For examples, today I open all chested in some rooms of the Goro's Lair, and I reset all chests again. Tomorrow I open all chested in some rooms, and I reset all chests again. I have done this for many times. I can tell you Soul Chests are worth open them because you can obtain many useful Augments for your characters for sure.

No, it's not.

Basically refill the entire Krypt once. Then only open Green things and hidden chests. MAYBE refill those once. But that's about it.

There might be some straggler items you're missing, but unless you want to burn a million coins for **A** piece of artwork and 3 metric ♥♥♥♥ tons of crap, it's absolutely not worth it.

Move on to the Shrine and Kronika orbs. When those run dry, you're basically done.

Now you can get gear and skins in Towers of Time for the character you beat said tower with. That's probably the best option if you have a specific skin/gear in mind.

Also be aware there are "timed krypt events" for the most sought after stuff. If your looking for Edenia Blue or Young Justice or classic Jax arms, don't bother. You won't find them outside a special limited time gold kronika vault Keypt event. There are alts where if you select with start it changes the color. That's your best bet for those skins.

This is quite ridiculous because I'm certain there are still a lot of valuable items available in those chests, especially profile images as there is a huge amount of those still locked in the Krypt. There must be something wrong here, maybe a bug that prevents certain items from appearing in restocked chests or something. Either that or I'm just very unlucky.

It's not just you. It's literally everyone. So it was designed this way.

I'm mad that the game shows no love for DLC characters. It's a struggle to find gears/skins for Shang. Even ToT is stingy a bit, but better than the Krypt that gives you 0.

It wouldn't be so bad if character towers didn't have so many arbitrary ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hoops you have to jump through just to access them THEN throw arbitrary ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ modifiers. They should be designed to teach you the character, not load up on modifiers and waggle RS the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ match.

I swear I took a six month vacation and decided to finally sit down and learn a DLC character. After the first tower, I said "♥♥♥♥ this. I don't have the time for this arbitrary ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥."
