The MKX trailer had a song that sounds like it's perfect for a sub zero scorpion fight. especially with how one sided it looks, the first words where it said 'your not my competition'
great use of a song
The MKXI trailer, it has about 3-5 seconds of a song that could go into a fight song, but then it raps about guns like and sounds like its not even worth his time saying the words. look, you want melodic haze, snoop dogg is the only one I have ever heard do that well, everyone else fails usually at the point where while snoop sounds like he wants to make a song, they sound like they resent the fact they had to get out of bed to make a song that day.
- As much as i love death metal (and CC's "Only one will die" just a song i feel like MK inspired) but i think it is not fit the genre
- Remember Reptile's fight scene from a first movie ? That was badass fight with fitting music

Exactly this. Spot on.
The main staple of the fight music, it has to be interruptible and not detract from gameplay, you cant want the fight to last just a bit longer because that one part you like in the song is coming up.
granted this kind of music does not make for a good trailer, because a lot of what makes a triller good is the music its set to almost more so then the visuals, a key point being saints row 3's trailer

or another one, dishonored

there are a few other trailers I know based on the music more so then I remember the game, but its hard thinking of them... Oh, in for the kill bayonetta.

just saying the trailer music needs to be something memorable, this will just be remembered as one of the worst songs to put in a trailer in a few years time if it's remembered at all, something the MKX trailer for me is still good for.
I doubt the game will have any sort of Rap anyway.
My understanding of how games on pc sell, the only reason you sell on your own platform exclusively is if you are a big enough name to demand it... epic has a chance to rival steam, but right now its the fortnite platform that's giving games away for free, its not something people go to and use because they want to, but because they have to.
