• 1 week early access to DLC characters
• 7 Skins
• 7 sets of gear

So to play as extra characters that should be already in the game character default roster or at least have them as hidden characters to unlock ( like the old generation of mk great games, which are still better than this crap coming out now ), they charge you 100 dollars for this?

300 dollars for the game and a stupid hat?

The scam is real folks. The game should cost 60 bucks with everything included, period. Capcom does the same thing, sell SF5, but don't add guile and Akuma, and then charge you 20-30 dollars to play them. Guile should already be a default character, because he is lol.

The last great mk game was MKGOLD/MK4.

And BTW, do i have to mention how mk games have degraded over time, how worse can it get when you add rap music, no stupid rap music in a mortal kombat game. Seriously? LMFAO

Dont buy the DLC then. NRS dlc characters are well worth their cost, but if you dont want them, then dont get them. The fact that you know what youre getting for your money means that its not a scam anyway.

Well i only play the following MK games, MK1, MK2, MK3, UMK3, MKT, MK GOLD, MK4 and of course the Mortal Kombat Mugen games. I don't play anything after mk4. The series went down hill ever since Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. And it has got worse.

I honestly wish they went back to the 2d digitized graphics. for example

They need to go back to its roots. At least if they want to continue making the new 3d games which they are making, also make the old 2d series for fans who only enjoy playing them.

SF is different they are making a seasonal game, rainbow six does the same.
is the dlc really 100 dolars or is he just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ? because if dlc is more expensive then the base game, he got a point

Deluxe Edition (or something) which includes the basegame AND 6 dlc characters is ~90€ iirc. So basically 15€ for a 3 Character DLC pack +skins, similar to how its been before.

u missed out man. mk9 was actually an mk1 reboot basically honoring all the 2d mk
and mkx really evolved from mk9

being a purist is bad man. i used to go sega only in console days only to find out nintendo was just as awesome only last year. im 36 so i get u ole days man. but some things really get good but u just need to grow into them. as for mk gold? man mkx is mk gold right there. mk gold is heavily inspired by trilogy and mkx takes it to next level cuz u can counter and use objects

I just like the older 2d games better, they look better, and have a better faster combat system and way better music and production . mk9 i didn't like, it feels like the rest of the 3d mk games. I just prefer the old series better and mugen series of mk games. But if you like the newer 3d mk games, have fun.

Let's be happy we are actually getting it with the console release. PC usually gets MK games like a year after consoles. You are proof that people will complain eternally about everything no matter how much is given to them.

Um have you actually gone back to play those old 2D games. They look and play terrible. MK4 had one of the worst receptions out of all MK games period. Your taste is stuck in the past thats all.

Gone back? I play them all the time, all i play are the older mk 2d games and Mugen mk games. I have 3 arcade machines, mk2, umk3 and street fighter 2 championship edition and i play all the mk games on my pc as well through emulators and so forth.

Difference of opinion though, have fun with the newer mk games, i won't.

Your gaming experience is NOT what 90% of the gamers out there experience. You have MK arcades equipped with subwoofers. You play mugen with 1000 chars. Come on. Like just MK9 alone is better than MK1, 2, 3, 4 combined.

oh yes it is, it is real, and the early access isent exclusive, its for everyone, couse all you will get is a Early Access game, and have to pay extra for all the rest, but bugs will be free for everyone, like always.

and yes i agree, the last good game was Mortal Kombat 4, and i dont like stupid rap music creeping in either.

No i completely understand. Everyone gets hype with new stuff, then when you play it, you will see how it is and if you really like it or not. I seen the trailer and the cut scenes durning certain moves looks good, but I'm just not into the 3D graphics they are using, or combat system engine they have been using since mk9. I don't like the sound effects and music and awful sounding announcer in these new mk games compared to the older 2d versions.

I get that things changed, just the way things are with certain stuff. Some people will like it, and some won't.

But have fun.
