Shaolin Monks Remaster coming with Premium Edition?
Premium edition is pretty overpriced to only come with 1 dlc pack. A remastered was teased albeit over 5 years ago.

MK11 kould be dealing with multiple timelines beyond the main 2, SM has been said to be non canon but it kould be one of many tinelimes.

Perhaps even MKX was suppose to deal with multiple timelines but was too ambitious and had to be khanged. With that the SM remastered kould have been shelved til now.

Whatever happened though I think there's a good khance to see SM remastered and kan't wait because I love that game and hope I'll get a sequel one day.

Well according to mkx the dlc characters are $5 each (6 characters = $30 total) so I’m guessing the other $10 is for the 7 premiere skins (basically a new character with same moves) and loot crates, so I think the price is justified

Also really? Kould, khance, khange? That’s just dumb

I support the idea of Deadly Alliance/Deception/Armageddon/Shaolin Monks getting a "HD" re-release on modern systems (PS4/XBO/Steam/Switch).

I mean, how hard would it be to port these games over and give them some HD rez + texture flair?

Would mean more cash for WB/Netherrealm.

Heh, as far as I'm concerned they can give me MK:SM PC port with co-op through net even without remaster. I'll just buy a pad and I can go happy. MK:SM's story was a trainwreck but the gameplay was bucketloads of fun and the overall game design (locations etc was just pure gold); especially when you played with someone. XD

I kouldn't kare less about a remaster myself, all I want is a re-release with widescreen, kurrent resolutions, kontroller support and achievements. I'd re buy any of these games and they kan name their price.

I guess there's no koncrete industry definition but yeah I want that. I prefer it really, I like playing games in their original form, new textures ruin that for me.

As for Ko-op, I say just leave it Kouch, I rather play with a friend locally anyway.

injustice 2 dlc characters are $6... pretty unlikely that dlc in a newer game is going to be cheaper

until they announce what's in the deluxe edition, you have no idea whether it's got a reasonable amount of extra content or not

Well the steam page lists as just getting the kombat pack. That better be a really big pack for $40 USD and no remaster.

One of the problems with doing any sort of online co-op with SM is that the game uses save point locations instead of auto saves, which creates a problem for online co-op because they would either have to go back into the game and program in auto save features or you'd have a super awkward set up where both player would separately have to use the save points to save their progress.

It's WB, they have tons of money, I'm sure they can find a solution and if not, they can buy one. I just don't have anyone near me to play the game, so online co-op is the only solution. Besides that, I don't need anything from them do do in this game.

There was this game a while ago called A Way Out and it was online co-op, so I think it's not so hard to do it. I don't know how it worked over there (I dodn't play the game) but if an indie studio could do it, then WB should be no different.

Are you serious? My opinion is invalid because I'm not currently playing MK? I'm playing other games now and already have all achievements, get a life.

I wonder what people have with shaolin monk, this game was pure garbage as mythologies and special forces lol.

Do a MKDA/Deception remake. (or a Deception konquest mode remake)

Totally agree, more so I would hate for them to waste resources, then not get the profit out of sales and then decide not to bother with say Deadly Alliance or Deception.

From a business sense if they do a remaster at all, I think it should just be getting this game going on modern systems, res, controller, achievements. Past that not worth the money.
Something not makeing financial sense is a MYTH. Plenty of companies make games for the hardcore market and rig them for it, while the customer base is 99% casual.

Right, because if someone made a sitcom about Hitler advertisers would jump at the chance to advertise their products on that show right?

Making an AO rated game that no retailer will carry is the best way to make money right?

You're flat out lying when you say it's a myth. There are plenty of things that don't make financial sense to do.

Ok but plenty of things do make financial sense and these bad executives choose to do the thing that doesn't make sense, such as the example you clipped.

Call me crazy but that sounds like it could be hilarious. I mean hey, That's My Bush was great.
