I would suggest turning it off, just working with no AA until they fix or implement another AA solution.
HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME
I'VE MADE MY MISTAKES GOT NOWHERE TO RUN
hmmm??
I can play the game at maximum graphics settings with high FPS.
The problem is not your settings guys or your drivers it is just the game that is badly set.
Guys, remember the two last mortal kombat games ? The cinematic were very low in terms of quality and then when the fights started you could see a huge difference of visual quality.
In this Mortal Kombat 11 it is the total contrary !! Video quality is great and the game itself visually is impressively bad when comes the fight moment.
Incredible.
I will check the console version tomorrow on my best friend console. I'm sure it will not be the same then on PC. The console demo version we have seen on twitch or youtube did not have that poor visual quality. I wanna see the difference with my own eyes now.
Looks a lot better. It's annoying to DSR games via desktop resolution, but downsampling from 1440p with these settings should be great.
what you can tell tho by looking at how they fixed mk10 is that they will fix it, and it'll be good.
the things i'd be more worried about is the netplay etc, if that's good then you should be happy, graphics and driver issues are easy to fix tbh just takes time.
chill.
Much better like this, turning off that horrible bloom helped a lot.
About anti aliasing... well yeah without it is definitly more like what everybody was expected... but without sharp effect of course.
Im testing the anti aliasing types hoping my brain will finish to like their effect until they fix that problem.
Anyway thx MadV7 for your sharing the article.
No problem. Didnt make it better for me tho, well yes, slightly, but still. Clearly something wrong with the implementation of AA in this game, and ive decided that im out guys. Ima fighting game player but ive never been into MK games. Thought id try to seriously learn this one and see if I could enjoy it at a competetive level. But this graphical issue just removed whatever motivation i might have.
Ive requested a refund, but i might buy the game eventually if the PC port gets some love and they actually fix the graphics. Would love it if you guys who've experienced the same issues here could keep me updated.
Hey mad try these https://www.reddit.com/r/MortalKombat/comments/bgpzzl/you_can_drastically_improve_the_pc_graphics_via/ I think I got the animations feeling much more snappy by setting nvidia to vsync at fast. and I did all the otherstuff in this thread too
and try turning off 'match recording' and 'frame skip' https://frondtech.com/mortal-kombat-11-mk11-game-looks-blurry-how-to-fix/?fbclid=IwAR2BDN07_yUUSxFvTCmKhoeI3a9Afq_AzoRdYE4Yxi50H1SIu_lzAnm3k6g
TAA seems to make the edges pretty good but we also lose texture detail and contrast.
Supersampling at a higher resolution (if your gpu can supply the processing power) might result in less jagged edges.
Thats alot of effort to make the game look slightly better. It might work really well but without proper working TAA, the grainy textures and all that won't go away. It probably still won't look as good as it does on PS4 Pro, which is a disgrace, we're talking pc here. Ive already refunded it. I do appreciate you sending me this tho. If i do get the game again, and it isnt fixed by the devs, i might try that out.
I also have a 1080 60hz screen (planning on buying a new one soon). But its the devs and Qlocs responsibility to actually make the AA and the TAA work properly.
