Why is the game so QUIET?
Even with the Windows and in-game volume maxed out, and my speakers turned up, the game still sounds like it's at 50% volume compared to practically any other game/application.

I seem to recall MK9 having the same problem.

What is it with NetherRealm always screwing up the audio?

The problem here is that the audio is entirely too quiet, it does actually sound like it's 50% at best.

Did absolutely nothing for me. The audio is extremely low regardless which "setup" I choose.

type in control panel/windows search "sound" and select "sound" or "sound recorder" the first tab should have audio devices listed, find the one you're using and right click it and select "properties" inside the properties, select the "enhancements" tab, then check the box that says "loudness equalization"

This is how to increase the volume of your headphones beyond their normal threshold, when it does make a difference it's a noticeable difference. There's other options to play with and fiddle with too and it works for speakers as well as headphones only it will make your speakers sound weaker to have loudness equalization checked rather than louder but it makes your headphones louder.

Thanks so much! This worked perfectly.

I'm having the same issue as well. So frustrating, I'm thinking of a refund although I'm one of those who preordered the game.

Yeah. I have to turn my computer up to 100 in order to hear ANYTHING. I find this really funny because most games I have to significantly turn DOWN because the main title themes always blast my eardrums. Meanwhile I start this game and can't hear anything lol
