PS4 Button Prompts in the UI or only just XBOX 360/One Buttons?

Question: Will MK11 on PC have PS4 Button Prompts in the UI or only just XBOX 360/One Buttons? Devs/Marketing/Kommunity Manager/Porting Kompany/Anyone know?

Hopefully both not everyone uses xbox controller or steam controller, some use ps4 controller.

I tried the PS button on my Dualshock 4 controller in MKXL, the windows game bar worked. Windows 10 treats it like xbox one controller

I think Injustice 2 has PS,Xbox button prompts on PC, so it's gonna be available 100% in this game as well

Most likely yes they will be Xbox prompts, because mkxl has them and so does injustice 2.

It’s due to the fact that Sony doesn’t really support pc, not like Xbox does.

If Sony truly supported pc, we wouldn’t need tools like DS4Windows

I haven't tried it on MK11 yet since it isn't out. But this works on any other games that has Xbox/PS4 port. It works in WWE games for example since those were released on all platforms.

-Go on "Settings" -> "Controller Settings" -> Enabled just "Guide Button Focuses Steam" and "PS4 Configuration Support"

-In Big picture mode, Browse to the game -> "Manage Game" -> "Controller Option" -> and set "Use Global Steam Input Settings" -> "Forced off"

Now launch the game in big picture mode, and you have basically forced it to launch with keyboard control only.

-Now Press the "PS buttons" on PS4 controller -> "Controller Option" -> and set "Use Global Steam Input Settings" to "Global Settings(PS)"

From here on the X, O, Triangle, Square icon buttons will replace the default Xbox yellow, blue, green, red. Depending on each game the R1, R2 buttons may still show as bumper and trigger. You can even try this on other games now.

It's not up to Sony/Microsoft. It's up to the developer of the game. Plenty of recent games have DS4 prompts. Not recent but Batman Arkham Knight had them, another WB game.

Other games have ps4 button prompt supports there no excuse to not have it, its 2019 steam even has support for different controllers and has check box for if you have ps4 controller or other type of controller.

Actually if you run steam in big picture mode it will normally recognize it as a dualshock 4
