Head Glitch STILL WORKS!!

for those of you who didn't know or found out after the update

the head glitch in the krypt still works after the update

So the glitch is the following: in the krypta there a heads with chests at the location where the meteor drops. normally you need to do 50 fatalitys/bbrutalities on a single fighter to obtain its head. now the glitch is following: if you stand infront of the chests and see the lock icon, quit to the main menu, click on krypta and as soon as you clicked on it press x on your controller and hold it. now keep pressing x as you run at the location with the same head you logged out and if you did it right you can open the chest without the need of the actual head.

Normally you have to do 50 fatalities (for EACH character) to receive a head to place on a spike, which unlocks an epic skin and a bunch of other items for that character (and the door to Shang Sung's treasure room once you've unlocked enough)

This is extremely time consuming to put it mildly. However...

Right now you can walk up to a head (until you see the locked symbol), then exit out. Then go back into the Krypt but hold down the button (A on Xbox controller, X on Playstation) and CONTINUE holding it and walk up to one of the locked head spots, and it will unlock and give you the goodies

Rinse and repeat...

I'm guessing it's not patched because as far as I know it was discovered today, and the dev's seem to require, like 5 days or more to implement any kind of patch for PC

Easiest way to do the glitch is

Go to the Krypt. When you select it with E(Keyboard), X(PS4), A(Xbox), continue to hold it and walk over to the head shrines and it will unlock.

Time to open doors for "free" then, i'm upset of doors everywhere and the fact we have to wait to get RNG skull keys. I just want to have access to all krypt without RNG crap.

EDIT: Problem with this is, there are many things in the way to a door, so probably you will end opening something you didn't want to open, lmao.

Also, Krypt Shang Tsung island file is corrupted now. We have to verify integrity cache from Steam game properties, tiring haha.

Just to remind everybody here, you DONT need to stand front of statue when you quit out, you can be anywhere. Only thing you need to do is hold that box opening button X/A from main menu to until you get the chest open, then quit out and do it again.

EDIT: also read from reddit it works for some locked doors, havent tried this myself.
