I have the game and I'm not happy with the costumes. MKX was perfectly balanced in that regard, but this time it's in full SJW mode.

The thing is, this game is not for people who care that much about whether the females look sexy or not. The majority of players who bought this game are here for what it's actually worth, the fighting.

MK is a brand which is based on gore and shock effect, that's why it sells like hotcakes
everyone in the fighting community looks down at MK as a fighting game, so no, the majority of players bought this because of brand recognition : remove the gore, remove the characters, keep the core gameplay the same and let's see how much it would sell
