So can we all agree that a middle ground would be somewhere between mk9 and 10?

Its not JUST the costumes thats the issue. All female characters were replaced to the point where they are different people. Its like watching game of thrones and by season 7 arya is played by a different actress.

All the females are suffering from toxic masculinity story wise, except maybe cetrion dvorah and kitana. Cassy and Jaqi are pretty much the exact same character. And just like chronica you could swap them with male characters and you wouldnt tell the difference as they have 0 feminine traits to them. Actually scratch that they would probably make more sense if they were masculine given their attitudes which makes me believe that this was defenetly a guy who wrote the script for them as they have no ideea how to write a convincing female.

On top of that they have broad shoulders, strong jaw lines, androgynous traits and they are covered up to the neck.

The person who made the female characters should be fired and replaced with the person who made the male characters. Because Its very hard to look at this and not come to the conclusion that the person in charge has an issue with femininity.

And if you want further proof go in the krypt, look at the initial design for the female characters and then compare them with the abominations that came out

I find it difficult to believe they didnt expect the backlash. Instead they did a marketing trick that is quite known in the economic world. When you want to push something that you know its very unpopular with the clients. You push it worse. So when people complain you appologise and dial it back a little.

in other words they made the current system which is very bad then they will dial it back making it just...bad
But then people stop complaining and some even think you're "in touch with the comunitty and willing to listen"

And also i can apreciate that there are some people who dont like women looking like in kanos ending. But there are many who do. So why not just find a middle ground ffs?

Yea, that's great, but I'd rather they fix the constant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashing instead first.

It looks hella awesome, the tutorials and the gameplay is top notch, like you would expect in a good fighting game. And you complain about... *drumroll*......... not enough nude in the female outfits.

All they really need to do is release a pack that has iconic outfits for everyone. The new looks are ok, but without the original looks, these characters don't feel like the originals. They feel like different characters altogether. So release vanilla skins for Kitana, Jade, Skarlet, Frost, and Sonya, along with closer-to-vanilla skins for Scorpion and Sub-zero. The rest of the roster are either too new to have established iconic looks, or have outfits in-game already that are at least close enough to their established image.

Just my opinion.

I think there's a realistic chance we might get a "Klassic pack" at some point.

Both MK9 and MKX for example provided TONS of klassic options for everyone. And if they really wanna support this game "for years", there isn't any better opportunity especially with the "younger" versions of the characters that we got. It would even make more sense.

And hell, I wouldn't mind seeing the return of the MKX default outfits either. Those were a pretty good balance.

I am also still hoping for a non-cyborg or at least not fully-cyborg Frost Skin, because it seemed like a waste that we got only one version of her.

You display a concerning lack of empathy.

Mortal Kombat is a franchise. The whole picture of this franchise is composed of several parts. One part is the story and lore, the characters. Another is the music. Another one is the gameplay, the announcer, the occasional cheesiness. Yet another one is the fatalities and so on ... You can break this down however you like. Fact of the matter is, that skimpiness (not nudity or even hentai stuff - you're blowing things way out of proportion here) is part of this franchise since day one, since the very first MK and up until MK9 (I consider MK10 as the beginning of the end of this).

Now, you don't understand why some people complain about one of their favorite parts being ripped out of the whole picture? Maybe you'd understand better, if you imagined fatalities being cut from the franchise. How would you feel then? How would you feel if people then come to you and say things like "You're just disgusting! You wanna see violence? Go throw yourself into the next best war or look that ♥♥♥♥ up in the darknet!" ... How would you feel?

Just because you don't hold skimpiness in a high regard, doesn't mean you can look down on others. It also doesn't mean you should endorse NRS' behaviour, because the next thing that might go, could very well be something you loved about this franchise - while NRS would give the same reasoning: "I think, ... we overdid it. It's time to dial back on it."
