-POSSIBLE DESYNC FIX-

Someone deep in Reddit comments suggested that turning off RGB lighting options completely (by editing the usersettings.ini) seems to fix the desync problem. I was dubious but *so far* it's been working for me. I still have my doubts, but it's probably worth trying.

If you try it, let me know if it works! It's pretty hilarious if it turns out all this was caused by dumb, unnecessary lighting features...

1.Browse to %LOCALAPPDATA%\MK11\ (aka users\[whatever\appdata\local\mk11)

2.Open UserSettings.ini

3.Find RGBPeripherals = on and RGBKeyLighting = on

4.Set them to RGBPeripherals = off and RGBKeyLighting = off

5.Save the file


UPDATE: About a dozen more matches, and still no desyncs since turning it off.

Have you had the desync happen on your end AND the opponent's end, or only on one? Possibly it's just the folks out there (including me) with certain RGB hardware and the setting turned on causing all the problems.

Fix doesn't work for me, I desynced a few minutes ago while spectating a match in king of the hill.

Possibly if any one person in the KOTH has the issue, it can desync everyone?

I only played KOTH and didn't try the other online modes yet, plus I forgot to mention my mouse has also RGB lighting Steelseries Rival 700.

doesn't work for me. today we've been desyncing less than the past couple days, but anyway we both tried the fix, and did 1v1 and still got a desync.

dang. oh well. it still seems to be working for me (just did another 4 ranked sets with no desyncs) but maybe it's just one of many things causing it.

ppl are abusing the sht out of it, play a game they just leave when u do last hit and game desynchs no1 gets a win no1 gets a loose just a interrupted game in match history, easiest to prove that is my example, ive played 2 matches vs raiden i lost both, then i won 1 and he insta ragequit and i didnt get a win xD cool game btw

This does work for some people. It worked for my friend. It has worked for others. Simply just going into the option in the game and turning it off works as well, for some people.
