Keyboard or Controller ?
Which do you use ? Since I am new to using modern xbox one controller, keyboard feels better but i do not like the default layout. Also what is the advantage of changing stance in-game ?

Lol, keyboard for a beat em up, makes me cringe and shudder in disbelief....

I play on a mechanical keyboard and I prefer it to a controller.

On a controller you have one thumb to hit four movement buttons (or to tilt a stick, and I think buttons are better than a stick because you get instant responses rather than having to push a stick back and forth).

On a controller you have one thumb to hit four attack buttons and perform your attack strings and kombos and special moves.

On my keyboard I have 6-8 fingertips over those keys at any given time and I can block with either thumb (I bind it to spacebar)

I'd say controller. Special moves and comboes are a lot easier on it for me.

Any anti ghosting keyboard is great for fighting games. It's pretty much a hitbox with extra buttons.

Imo, keyboard, fight stick and hitbox/mixbox are better then controler.

It's all about comfert

if you dealt with the bug with keyboard in MK just go along with it.
don't pay attention to those who haven't invested enough time and effort on keyboard as much as they have on controller.
see if they have any reason for their recommendation.

It depends on what you have and what you want to use.

I'd choose keyboard, since I spend more time working with keyboard than controller. it feels natural. But the default key bindings is... for somebody else. Also the numpad bindings got huge useless NUM and tiny little numbers which hold critical information.

I would say keyboard with good antighosting option is better(those arent cheap and most of them are very loud...) but atm i think pad is better, so if you can handle controller pick it without hesitation. THEY PATCHED SMTH and that broke keyboard. Now game is cutting some of your moves or drops on combo. I think if you still belive they will fix it or want to stick to keyboard pick char with low/medium amout of keys required for combo.

... you can edit your button setup for mk on keyboard no need to use default which is terrible

just got the game on PC. I'm using a new xbox series x controller on it and the game, for whatever reason is registering my A button as the back punch button. While the "x" and "y" buttons are front punch. When i try to change my controller settings to Xbox, it keeps going to direct input. Should i go back to using my xbox one controller? anything will help. Thanks dudes.

I played on both, with keyboard I feel more precise, with controller there is alot of missclick for me ( xbox 360 controller, not the best one ).
For me the only cons for playing on keyboard is if you really want to play pro leagues phisycally, because I don't think that they care about making a good table setup for a keyboard player.
