Lol, keyboard for a beat em up, makes me cringe and shudder in disbelief....
On a controller you have one thumb to hit four movement buttons (or to tilt a stick, and I think buttons are better than a stick because you get instant responses rather than having to push a stick back and forth).
On a controller you have one thumb to hit four attack buttons and perform your attack strings and kombos and special moves.
On my keyboard I have 6-8 fingertips over those keys at any given time and I can block with either thumb (I bind it to spacebar)
which controller are you using?
Imo, keyboard, fight stick and hitbox/mixbox are better then controler.
It's all about comfert
don't pay attention to those who haven't invested enough time and effort on keyboard as much as they have on controller.
see if they have any reason for their recommendation.
... you can edit your button setup for mk on keyboard no need to use default which is terrible
i suggest starting a new discussion as more people are likely to notice that and help you
For me the only cons for playing on keyboard is if you really want to play pro leagues phisycally, because I don't think that they care about making a good table setup for a keyboard player.
