Ps4 controller button prompts?

MK11 is reading my Ps4 arcade stick fine, and in the tutorial it even shows a picture of a Ps4 pad. But the button prompts still talk about X,Y,A and B and the controller picture lights up with the wrong buttons when I press them, making learning combos etc extremely awkward.

Is there a config option to make it display correct prompts?

go into big picture mode MK11 and disable ds4 controller support or something like that in controller options then it works for some reason.

Thanks for the replies, but using 'forced off' doesn't seem to be changing anything. I'm still getting Xbox style prompts and it's still showing the wrong button presses.

Have you enabled your controller in Big Picture mode?

I just managed to make the DS4 buttons work by connecting via cable. (With steam support disabled in Big Picture) Via bluetooh, it does not work.

the game only recognizes ps4 control by cable. via bluetooh you need software with DS4 Windows or the steam big picture. which makes the game understand that it is a XONE control.

To be clear, the problem isn't that the controller doesn't work. It works fine, and on some level the game is clearly recognising that it's a Ps4 controller since in Tutorial it displays a Ps4 controller when demoing moves etc.

The issue is that the buttons that light up on that controller graphic are wrong (eg Square lights up when I press X) and the button prompts are still formatted as if I was using an Xbox controller.

can i setup the game so that it shows B/F/U/D or, better, ←/→/↑/↓ instead of W/A/S/D ?
