The whole Krypt is a giant RNG warehouse, inveigling the underlying loot box inspired content gating past dim consumers, and for what the game will go down in infamy for. "Secrets" are no longer what the MK franchise is about -- consumer fleecing is now the IP's no.1 shtick.
And there are some curious clues in the loading screen tips too, like the not-quite-perfect anagram of "Ermac Does Not Exist" and the strange clue "Look to La Luna" (presumably something to do with the moon in the Krypt, but I can't figure anything out) which is a callback to an earlier MK secret.
There may still be undiscovered stuff.
Nowadays it's Mercy that has me wondering the most. They can't have added that just for the sake of it.
Then again, announcer voices don't mention any new finisher names, so...
Also, there's a chance that all of that stuff in the Krypt's files just went unused.
Cetrion, Kitana and Noob all have Brutalities requiring a Mercy.
Kabal too for his classic Screamer brutality. Probably others.
Its the one that looks exactly like the old fatality.
they are most likely a 5/10$ dlc.
