Fast forward in AI battles

Question? Does this only work if both players press it? I never press it because I'm thinking "what if the other guy doesn't want fast forward?".

What? It`s your AI against opponent`s AI. If you want to increase speed then do it. Opponent will watch it at any speed he wants.

How is that possible? If it's a live online battle and I chose fast how will it be normal for him when the future already happened on my side? Maybe I just don't understand the tech or something

Are we talking about same AI battles? Your bots fight against his bots. It`s not real time. He can rematch, using "Defend" section. Not sure if it`s working.

It's not a live online battle. It's completely asynchronous. You attack any team whenever you want, and let it run at whatever speed you want. The servers record the match (as button data, not as a video) and the defender can watch it whenever they want, at any speed they want. At no point are you both watching the "same" thing at the same time.
