Will this game die out like Injustice 2?

The game will die sooner than any other comparable, "triple-A" fighter, but, last longer than Injustice 2 did. This, if for no other reason than because of the rumoured "19 DLC characters" coming for the game.

I don't see the gameplay depth in MK11 to sustain the game much beyond the developer's usual, rather short-lived product life cycle (unless major gameplay refinements are made), and their whip hand, Warner, dictate revenues -- revenues that can come only through new IP's.

Started the story mode and was hyped for it. Expected a heavy, gritty, brutal and adult story. Was met with bubble gum chewing teenage girls. I stopped as my eyes rolled too far back into my skull. People say it gets better later so maybe i'll revisit at some point.

Yes, I was hoping to play this until Samurai Spirits, but between the terrible port, which is still broken, the lack of ability to punish, huge input delays/lag and a community that rage quits, tea bags or leaves as soon as a match is lost, with tons and tons of menus and loading screens, this game simply isn't fun.

Better going off to spent time in DBZF.

#2 is an accurate representation of what Jade looked like in 1995. Certainly, MK9's Jade (#3 in that picture) is skimpier, but by mid 90s standards that Jade was pushing it.

MK9 is skimpier still, but only marginally so, since UMK3's Sheeva already has very little.

Dude I was thinking the same thing. I'll be 31 this year. Still remember playing MK1 on the SNES for the first time. (You know, the time before you could look up all the fatalities and secrets). Im disappointed the most in the model of Sonya. You can't go from Iconic Sexy Badass Women with nice Rack... to barely anything at all.

Sonya just doesn't give the "oh yeah, that's Sonya" vibe. Im not wanting in game/naked women or skimpy clothing. I just want proper Character models that resemble Mortal Kombat. It's quite obvious they were probably told to tone it down, but wow; not by that much.

Then again, maybe they just want to get rid of the sexy women cliche, and focus on the gore. To me, Mortal Kombat has always been about the Women and the fatalities. Kitana, Mileena, and Sonya tore up the competish all day if you knew how to use them.

except you apperently dont remember it that well, MK1 sonya actor wasnt overly busty neither had sexy outfit.... actually the outfit was exactly the same as the alt outfit in this game (besides colouring).

That refutes neither of my points. Skimpy clothing has been a part of the franchise for 2 decades.

Existence of female characters who had more clothing than some of the others and even predated all other female characters doesn't contradict it either.

What I disagree with is changing characters (not just in MK) based on the current level of wokeness in society. That means I also disagree with scantily clad Sonya in MK 9, since that is out of character for her.

Yeah the person i was quoting with my reply did though. I had reply to your bit earlier in the thread. For your latest reply i mostly agree actually. Where we disagree is the bit on why the characters were changed. You think its because wokeness. I do not. If that was the reason there would be no skimpy clothing at all. There is plenty of that around. I am happy about most of the redisigns to move from generic ninja #234. The fight against wokeness is at this point about as obnoxius as the extreme SJWs themselves. Two sides getting butthurt over littlest ♥♥♥♥ while calling each other snowflakes.

In last patch I played Bamco again proven that they dont care because they buffed one or two of his moves to nerf two others. Its like "lets change something in him but lets make sure he will remind bad".

Also I don't like rework he undergone after T5. Blockable sword attacks all around? Second sword? New stance that is so crappy? I'm not tier ♥♥♥♥♥ but going against the current constantly bored me. Game doesnt have to be balanced but when I see that Bamco does what their can to ensure Yoshimitsu wont be decent I'm raging a little.
