For some reason I can't do Liu Kang's. MK1 Fatality

I bound the movement keys to its respective arrows, as well as block to space but when I do the movements I can't seem to do it. Why? I've been holding down block for as well as press: -> \/ <- /\ ->

He has-

Burn Out:
Down, Back, Down, Forward, 1 (Close)

Belly of the Beast:
Back, Down, Back, Forward, 2 (Mid-range)

There is no mention of MK1 fatality anywhere.

im reffering to the actual Mortal Kombat 1, and Liu Kang's fatality in that game.

In MK1 Liu Kang's fatality was - 2 kicks and uppercut.
Here 1 of his fatalities start the same way.
I believe every game since MK9 had some sort of this move for Liu Kang whether in X-Ray or Fatality

He writes about brutality which looks like Liu Kang's fatality from MK1
