Variation portraits not changing

So am I the only one having a problem with portraits of default variations not updating when I change them? Other variations are working fine. Also this problem does not occure if I switch to Windows user without non-english characters in it's name, but when I switch back to non-english user, the problem is back again.

same, it seems like only desync was fixed, requirements in towers and portraits not fixed
PS. I have this problem and i have windows user without non-english characters and in all variations. Portraits work fine for me only with 1080 resolution

Yeah the portraits of the characters keep pushing them all the way over to the right side if I go in and edit them, so you can't even tell what variant is selected.

I think we are talking about different problems.
Portraits moving to the right is a common problem caused by resolutions > 1080p.
My problem is portraits not changing upon editing (e.g. if I change Kitana from revenant to human portrait still shows her as a revenant).

Yes portraits remains the same on ranked matches, and you can only use the skin you set as default

I thought it was a deliverate thing, is it diferent on consoles?

I am aware of that and this is not the problem.
Portraits stay default in the variations menu.

I have tried verifying files, I have tried reinstalling the game, I have tried deleting %AppData%\Local\MK11 folder.

this is a glitch. if you play this game any resolution above 1080p, character portraits will not be showing correctly after customization. I play on 4K now and all customized character portraits (except the default ones without editing) are only showing part of the customization editing screen. This is very annoying.

@Night Whisper I have the same problem with all dlc outfits, but on xbox one. I have reported it many times but without success. Did you manage to solve your problem with the pc game?

Well, sort of. Like I said, everything works fine if your Windows username contains only english characters, so yeah, that's what I did. Haven't encountered this issue since.
