Also try disabling release check in the options for better cancelling (it's a fancy name for negative edge, and leaving that on usually sucks).
A 360 pad should work plug and play, just start using it once you're in the game. Works fine for me, anyway.
Just a quick glance at the move list reveals this game is extremely simple in comparison.
The way it should be is inputting as each move connects, but eh.
But yeah you wanna turn off release check, and you may want to switch input timing window in options to medium rather than long, but you can check that out yeah.
If you wanna special cancel off of one hit in this that typically means no confirm and you just commit to the special being done and hope it all hits.
but i also feel like this sort of combo system is alot easyier to learn for realy newcomers
and not someone playing street fighter or tekken the like before.
u just do your 3-5 wired imputs then special move.
dont have to hit frames once the initial move hits.
