How to check MK11 version?

I'm pretty sure my game hasn't updated and I'm still running the day 1 vanilla version.

How can I check and force an update?

I highly doubt that, you have to make an active effort to turn off autmatic updates on steam.
Right click on the game in your library and open the settings. Look if it set to automatically update. You can also run "verify game cache integrity" to be doubly sure

If you can play online against others you must have the newest version.

If you replicate this combo 425dmg(release version) 460dmg(new version)
that would be a way to check.

You don't understand. You don't need to check, if steam doesn't update it despite being told so, it is on the newest version.

The .exe itself is still 1.0
