Secret is to not stand still as to breathe the gas, and of course don't get hit. The enemies have less health, I found using lui kang and rushing like crazy works well.

just jumping makle you inhale and even certain moves makes you inhale... and there's a bomb coming so i don't know how am i supposed to avoid it without jump and inhaling the gas on landing
