The Game Session has desynchronized

Most of the times it seems players in ranked / unranked !DO SMTH! to avoid a loss, because after that message arrives - stats are not recorded.

In my case i have noticed that whenever !THE INTERNET DISAPPEARS FOR 0.001 SECS OR EVEN LESS - Mortal kombat 11 doesnt have any reconnect system working! and instead of losing couple of frames during that lag i was always getting the "The network connection to your system has been lost. Make sure your Ethernet cables and router are connected properly" the other player sees the "The Game Session has desynchronized" message. But in this case game stats are being recorded and i get a lose. Moreover, "The network connection to your system has been lost. Make sure your Ethernet cables and router are connected properly" message can appear even in an online menu after a little disconnect and istant reconnect, so i have to restart game. Idk what kind of netcode should it have, not to be able to insta reconnect after. F.E. i can use two providers, whenever one turns off - the other one cannot connect without losing a connection with MK11 Servers. BECAUSE there is no reconnect system in here.

Whenever "The Game Session has desynchronized" happens in a ranked match, no stats are being recorded and people just avoid losing (cause this is not the first time im winning 2-0 and almost finishing the third match - this happens).

Unlike MK9 - MK11 (likewise MKX) doesnt have any reconnect system to continue a game after micro second disconnect. It doesnt matter how short that disconnect duration will be - game will always end with a loss.

I hope devs will see that and pay their attention to this. It is probablly the case.

You can actually test that by pulling out your internet plug, and the immediately plugging it in - you will never reconnect to MK11 servers. Im so tired of getting loses in online ranked cause of that.

its not the player leaving,its the server...i had multiple games where i was losing and getting falalited and this error appeared

In the same boat. Can't say with certainty where the problem lies, but I can say that I have never had a game fail so often in online play before. The RGB de-activation work-around doesn't seem to have helped in my case.

Currently the problem persists, I have deactivated the RGB and it does not solve anything. are you still going through this?

Has anyone found a solution for this? The company is not aware of the problem at this point and not planning to fix it? Is really annoying, most the 80% of my games are lost!!!

Well, its for the new windows 11 24H2 update, rolling back to 23H2 will fix the issue but thats not a solution. They need to release a fix soon. Online is unplayable for me, getting desync in every set.

My problems, including desynchronization, were resolved when I returned to Windows 10, everything now flows well.

New windows update seems fixed the issue, i updated my windows, restarted, played 6 set b2b after so long without desync. 'KB5048667' for 24H2

I had multiple issues with MK11 connectivity. Servers gone, desync, etc, etc. What fixed it for me was router settings. DMZ, expose your host for the duration of your play session, and then turn it off again after you're done playing. I haven't had a single connection issue since. Seems Mk11 uses some TCP/UDP ports occasionally that are not listed anywhere.
