Krypt jumpscares?

I've never owned a Mortal Kombat game before but played them here and there since MK 9. I've always known about the crypts and now that MK11 has cosmetics which I love, since they introduced them to Injustice 2 I want to get them. But I hate jumpscares beyond passion, and it sadly seems that you can only unlock certain things in the Krypt, are the jumpscares frequent and whatnot? I know you can unlock cosmetics by doing towers of time and other things, but so much is sadly locked behind the krypt.

No they are not very frequent and predictable. Ocasionally a body pops up out of the blood pools which isnt that scary.

The only bad jump scare requires you to turn on kenshi vision. And its pretty rare. Scares the ♥♥♥♥ out of me every time tho

There are jumpscares but it's mostly the loud sounds that get you I would say. Turn the volume down or off.

Yeah the kenshi vision is the main real scare. I put it on the other day on one of the two bridges that go over the spike pit and some spirit demon killed me while screeching. It was not cool.

Then again, I have an anxiety disorder, and I consider jump scares to be equal to shining a strobe light on an epileptic persons face and laughing. It isn't funny, it isn't appreciated, and it's the lowest form of horror.

Honestly, this is probably the best Krypt in the series, least in my opinion

Here is little tip for the blindfold jump scare. Spam X (or whatever your hammer swing button is) immediately after pressing the button for the blind fold. You can defend yourself that way and even get a reward (sub zero or scorpion skin, I forgot)
