Erron Black's "On the shoot" string is nearly impossible on PC.

His 2 1 2 1 2 string is really hard to do unless you use a fightstick or something. I use a controller and it was fixed on consoles but its still not fixed on PC. Anyone know when its coming? The only way I can do it is if I do 2 1 1+2.

you gotta input the string quickly.... do not wait for the buttons to come out just input all of it at once. (unless you're going to hit confirm after the 4th hit)

Some combos just require you to press the buttons fast. That is one of them. Jade had a combo similarly need fast pressing.

I get that the idea is to do it fast, but sometimes not even smashing works, it feels really inconsistent, the imput reading needs adjusting imo

My man, I can get every others characters combos, hell I can do this combo on console as well after the patch. Its just not fixed on PC for some reason. Like I said, the only to do this is 2 1 1+2. You gotta have like sonic speed fingers to do this combo right now in PC. Its easier to say "You can do it, just gotta press it fast". The thing is only when mashing the button it works. Lol

There are some I have a hard time pulling off even in practice, let alone doing it in matchs high pressure moments.

Exactly. Lol! Some of the strings are broken in PC. I don't play jade, but reading your comment her string is probably broken too. Unless she has a higher frame on that string.

If it's like Kung Lao's 21212 string only the 2,1 beginning will actually come out unless you press 2,1,2 quickly after: the 2,1,2 itself pretty much counts as a single move. so yeah, you gotta tap it out fast and commit to the string.

Its not like Kung Lao's. You can perform Kung Lao 2 1 2 1 2 string, but erron's you have to mash it unless you do 2 1 1+2. You have to try it yourself to see how ridiculous it is.

I know you can do it that way, but its not the right way to do it and half the time it still doesn't work. If they would've fixed his string on PC properly, if you get the combo perfectly if you did the input correctly.

I had the same problem but can now do it nearly every time. But it is true that the timing could eb less strict. takes a bit time to get it in the ehad to press 211 1+3 and 2211 1+3 if you jump in

Just went into lab to test it out: it's just like I thought. You have until the second hit connects to input the 2,1,2. Think about it as if you're cancelling the first 2,1 into 2,1,2 to help with the rhythm

I just switched my button config and its waaayyyy much easier.

I play on pc and I use keyboard pretty good at it and I have never face any issue pulling off those combos. They require timing and fast presses. Not button smashing of course.
