Can Shang Tsung take a persons soul and do their fatality on them?

The title really, but this is something ive tried but wondered if the amplified soul steal will allow you to keep their form after their defeat long enough to do it.

Its kind of stupid but in the early games where he could literally turn into the entire roster, he actually could turn into someone else and if you were quick enough you could use the persons fatality you turned into.

I dont want him to turn into the entire roster, as it was a pain accidentally turning into people you didnt necessarily want to. but i would like to know if its possible to turn into your opponent and do their fatality o them. it was always fun back in the day doing that to your friends. :)

It isn't possible to do their fatalities because it forces him in normal form after finish him, but it is possible to do your opponents Brutalities.

man itd be cool if you did an enhanced soul steal towards the end of the match and it let you keep their form after it says finish him. lol
