I don't do it but its the best way I guess. Its hard to fight these s tier characters if you playing a character what is a "good MU" for them.
I think Jade can be a good counter against Cassie.
If she does zone tho you can flawless block the gunshots and several in the cast can actually punish her from that if they aren't too far away, like LK flying kick etc.
Try to take your time and advance to her as you duck high shots and flawless block her low (they don't hit low).
Up close is where she is dangerous. She is safe as hell on most of what she does, with good stagger and combos. I don't think there is a trick to beating her - as she simply is very, very strong - apart from simply knowing her strings and outplaying the guy playing her, with mind games and whiff punishes etc, the basics.
There is a reason SonicFox gave up Erron for Cassie, after all.
I usually switch to Jade when fighting Cassies. Jade outzones Cassie hard, but loses up close. So I zone the crap out of them, which tends to work well up to Demi God/God ranked Cassies.
Good match man, it wasn't easy for me... but honestly we both could have played better.
Yeah GG I enjoyed playing against you. I was talking about other cassie's that spams the low profile gunshot and switches between the standing gunshot. I rarely see people play with the variation you picked which made it interesting.
