Why do you hate Erron Black?

I'd like to listen to opinions, but please without insulting or hatred towards anyone. I've also heard that people spam him in ranked, just because of how OP he is. I main him myself and haven't met a single EB after about 50-75 games.

Yea i main him too and i can agree he is broken as of now,once the patch comes his pick rate will drop a lot but he is nowhere near sonyas level,all he can do every kombo is max 30% where sonya can take you up to 60 with FB (errons FB scales so much that the most i've got i think its 40%)

Nah not really,you can get the timing every time with some practice with him,i myself rarely miss a F32.

For me the only problem is using rifle + 2 mid combo. I've done loads of combos with various characters in practice mode, but with Erron I just can't complete it cause of rifle + 2.

He is BS because EVERYTHING he does is safe. Not sure who was stoned when they made his frame data, but they should be fired. Scud shot is a catch all for being able to throw out whatever the ♥♥♥♥ you want and not get punished. You whiffed or got blocked on a dropkick? No worries, amp it. Most of his combos and normals are safe without cancelling into scud since the pushback is so bloody high too. Someone smartened up at NRS and they nerfed the ♥♥♥♥ out of him coming next patch.
He is a cool character and I like his playstyle, but being able to spam combos and be safe, for days without recourse is BS compared to what ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tools the rest of the roster are stuck with.

People hated him because he was Beta Test level broken.
He's fine on console now.
Once we get the patch on Steam too, around October, he'll be okay here too.

"insane" is a bit of a reach. The only hard thing he has is his 21212, but that's easily done after you figure it out. His juggles are just as easy as everyone else.

what I hate about EB: Everything associated with his f4

Range, completely safe, is fast, and looks identical to his slide on startup. The move is degenerate, Idc what anyone says.

i dont hate him. I do well with all EBs out there. I understand why ppl hate it though, patch changes hit exactly the spot. I imagine ppl will stop spamming him, at least the noob spammy type of EB :)

people hate erron black because before the balance patch he can do anything safely because of scud shot cancel/meter burn. and also both his F4 drop kick and the meter burn are safe which is stupid. Now with the balance patch we can always poke his scud shot and avoid his drop kick meter burn so its fine now i guess.
