If you want something similar to a keyboard for PS4, there is Hitbox Arcade but it is pretty expansive and they are tournament legal if they are not heavily costumized.
Right i see, thanks for the info, i guess ill have to research the adapters and see what i can use, I did look into hitbox but damn they're expensive, i guess i will have to spend a lot of money on the adapter anyway... Thanks for reply!
Yea but a hitbox is atleast £170 :/
Thanks man, ill have to do more research on this, idk if im a fan of hitbox, still prefer keyboard so the only option is to research more into this and possibly buy an adapter
More similar to a keyboard, more than a Hitbox, i remembered Keybox Controller but they sell it only on request (maybe for more costumization) so i don't know the price.
For the part of the "adapter", PS4 can recognize a keyboard just with a simple USB plug or Bluetooth, like i said the problem is if the keyboard is compatible and for that you must research. There are a lot of compatible keyboard for PS4, just choose the one you like more and for the price that you want spend.
For the tournament it must not have macro functions and multiple key assignments.

1. you dont fat finger moves so less stupid mistakes or moves that wont come out.
2.the hardest strings (A.K Erron 1.2.1.2.1.2,Jacqui U22 and ect..) are really easy on keyboard compared to controller so i wont say its less good i would say each has its own benefits .
Oh wow thank you! So some keyboards can literally be plugged in and play? I see!
Thank you, I will research that instead, maybe I'm in need for a keyboard upgrade anyway
Yeah honestly i never used console, so Im so awkward with controller, I dont know what to press and always get the inputs wrong, but keyboard just seems a lot more accurate, like if i press something i know i pressed it. I tried learning ps4 pad again a while ago but i just couldnt do it and gave up
Some stuff is just easier since it's hard to end up with a bunch of unwanted directions the way you do with pads.
Clean directions help a lot. I'm hoping I can get comfortable switching.
Pads are super convenient in comparison, there are upsides to them.
The only time I ever play MK with a keyboard would be to load up MAME or Genesis/SNES emulation and even then I only did it because I was too lazy to map the controller.
